With Ferran Torres seemingly on the verge of a Barcelona move, La Blaugrana now look to be turning their attentions elsewhere.
Barcelona to sign Ferran Torres from Manchester City?
Ferran Torres had a bright start to 2021/22 with Manchester City and looked set to be one of the Sky Blues’ main striking options this term.
However, the Spaniard was then injured and has been sidelined since. Now, in recent days, it appears as though Torres has all but completed a move to Barcelona for a reported £55m, and could even be announced as a Barca star on Monday:

Barcelona eyeing full-backs
Elsewhere, as mentioned above, Barcelona look to be targeting two new full-backs.
At left-back, Jordi Alba is well past his prime and needs replacing soon whilst at right-back, Xavi has been reluctant to use Sergino Dest too much.
Now, according to Spanish outlet Sport, Barcelona are looking at another Ajax defender to replace Dest in the form of Noussair Mazraoui, who is out of contract in the summer so he would be available on a free transfer:
To replace Dest, the one who likes the most is another Ajax player, the international for Morocco, Noussair Mazraoui. Lateral, 24 years old, is one of the candies that the market offers, as it will be free on June 30 and does not plan to renew. Barça has already contacted their representative, Mino Raiola, and in Amsterdam they are beginning to be clear that their player will dress as a Blaugrana .
At left-back, meanwhile, Barcelona are eyeing a move for Valencia’s Jose Gaya, who is only under contract for another 18 months so would likely be available for a reduced fee.
Sport claim Barca’s move for Gaya should be wrapped up in the summer.
