Barcelona begin spending spree
It has been an odd few months for Barcelona.
Forced to let their greatest ever player leave for free in a tearful farewell, just three months later they announced the signing of Ferran Torres in a deal worth up to 65 million euros.

The Spaniard, who joins Barca after 18 months with Manchester City, has signed a deal until 2027 with a release clause of 1 billion euros, joining both Pedri and Gavi in having their release clauses set so high.
And, while they have been knocked back in their attempts to sign Alvaro Morata this January in what would have been an impressive move, it appears as though those funds could now be diverted elsewhere.
Juventus manager Allegri confirms: “Álvaro Morata stays here. He’s not leaving in January. I had a face-to-face meeting with Álvaro & told him: you’re 100% staying”. 🚨⚪️ #Juventus
No way for Barcelona move. Also, nothing advanced or serious for Icardi-Juventus deal as of today. https://t.co/loC6tI7hLe

But where? Well, it appears Barca may have found their solution.
Renato Sanches incoming?
One man who has been linked with Barcelona for over a year now is Portugal star Renato Sanches, currently plying his trade with Ligue 1 side Lille.
The 24 year old seems unlikely to be there much longer, however, with a contract expiring in 2023 and seemingly no desire to renew it in France.
And now, Barcelona are once again in for his signature, after a summer move broke down due to an injury he picked up in August.
As per Portuguese outlet ELEVEN:
Barça is back on the market and Renato is one of the priorities

With a potential departure for Frenkie de Jong being lined up, will the Blaugrana line up a move for Janaury?
